Keynote Presentation

User Interface Design

At Adobe MAX  09, NVIDIA (the world leader in graphics cards and GPUs) had planned to introduce Adobe Flash 10.1 support for ION, their newest and integrated graphics chipset for netbooks and nettops. Because the new chipset utilizes hardware acceleration to aid in performance, specifically how it relates to video, animation, media, and the new Flash player, this is a rather important announcement to the design and developer community.

To help showcase the new chip at Adobe MAX, nVIDIA sought out BLITZ to design and develop a sleek Flash-based demonstration to be presented on a Netbook — a computer that is normally not able to handle such rich graphics and animations without some significant performance issues. The demo shows how seamless the ION chipset streams video and handles Flash, as well as other forms of media, such as photos and online magazines.

The keynote was a success, and again flaunts our own ability to think beyond more traditional ways of advertising to a targeted audience. In this case, our audience was some of the most enthusiastic and discerning designers and developers in the world.

“As designers and developers, it's always exciting to create something that lives within the walls of our own highly critical community.”
