Gaikai Launch
B2B Marketing Site
With the E3 Convention five weeks away, Gaikai approached BLITZ to create an ultramodern, yet user-friendly site that captured the true merit and functionality of their unique video game demo service. Instead of targeting individual gamers, however, the goal was to entice potential affiliates, game developers, publishers and retailers.
Because Gaikai was introducing a new technology, our team first had to research the ad servicing system in order to accurately understand its workings. Such knowledge was also vital to making the site easy to use while presenting the product in an informative, simple and professional manner. As a way to increase aesthetics, as well as the site’s fun-factor, we designed clean, bold, Flash-animated graphics and functionality clips of Gaikai’s system in action.
Production of the site was intended for a specific business-to-business audience, so instead of pushing social networking or mobile components, we offered viewers the ability to become Beta Testers, watch videos about the future of video games, and follow David Perry, Gaikai’s charismatic leader, on Facebook or Twitter to gain personal insight to his life and business in the gaming world. The level of innovative progressive technology as evidence by Gaikai’s demo service could signal that a revolution may soon be underway in the gaming industry.

“At Gaikai our standards for innovation and user experience are high, but BLITZ’s work is on a different level. They exceeded all expectations in design, dexterity and ability to attain desired outcomes.”
